Jessica Nix received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked as a newspaper writer and photographer prior to attending law school. She is a 2009 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law where she served on the Editorial Board and as Notes Editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. During law school, Jessica also held several internships including with Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, the Southern Center for Human Rights, and the Western Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office where she represented clients in court proceedings as a third-year student.
Jessica is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice before Georgia State and Superior courts. She is active in the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia where she serves on the Community Service and National Moot Court committees and is also a member of Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
